Five inmates who escaped from lawful custody at Oko Correctional Centre, Benin City, Edo State during the ENDSARS protests have been rearrested by the police in Abuja

They includes Peter Felix Osas, Onaruje Benjamin – convicted and was on death-row at the time of escape, Adebayo Opeyemi dismissed soldier and convicted for armed robbery, Alhaji Hudu Musa – convicted for receiving stolen property. The fifth suspect, Frank Odion Oloye, had already completed his jail term.

Also ,Abdullahi Mohammed a.k.a ‘Gwamnati’, a specialist in car snatching who claimed to have  snatched, 18 vehicles at gun-point from their owners in Jos and Bauchi States was paraded

6 AK49 rifles were recovered from a  female robbery kingpin Talatu Ibrahim and   Duleji Alhaji Abubakar a.k.a Ori jeje
