Pepper sellers in Oyo hosts Police Commissioner, Hamzat, commend CCII, Olubadan, Mogajis, ICPI, Others

The National Association of Pepper Sellers, Oyo State chapter has honored the Commissioner of Police in the state, Adebola Hamzat.

The Police boss was honored for his exceptional leadership and giant stride towards ensuring security of lives and property of residents of the state.

The event, which took place at the Oja’ba, Ibadan had in attendance Police Management Team in the state, President of Ibadan Mogajis, Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori, Coordinator, Ibadan Compound Peace Initiative (ICPI), Mogajis Nurudeen Akinade, and representative of Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Engr. Dotun Sanusi among others.

Speaking at the event, the leader of the association in the state, Alhaja Fausat Akeeem Abada said the presence of Hamzat has remain historical.

She thanked the CP for counting them worthy of such an eminent visit.

Also, while speaking at the event the President Association of Mogajis in Ibadanland, Chief Asimiyu Adepoju Ariori thanked the Hazmat for the visit, he maintained that Hamzat remained the most celebrated Police boss in the history of the state.

He stated that Hamzat was recently giving award in the last Police game hosted by the state government in the presence of the Inspector General of Police (IG), saying no CP in the state has ever received such recognition.

The Commissioner was honoured and presented a golden award, and also was giving several bags of pepper and other prestigious gifts.

The Commissioner of Police has initially been commended by the Olubadan designate, Olubadan in council, Ibadan Obas, CCII, Mogajis, Ibadan Compound Peace Initiatives (ICPI), Baales for his doggedness and commitment in ridding Ibadanland and Oyo state off the criminals.

The Police Commissioner in his remark assured the association that any form of harassment for members of the association will be put to check.

He urged them to continue doing their business legally and avoid anything that could tarnish image of the association.

Meanwhile, Mogaji Ariori who equally delivered Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Engr. Dotun Sanusi commended the association for recognising effort of the Police boss.

He however said Ibadanland and Oyo State in general are solidly behind Hamzat, assuring support of the residents towards curbing insecurity in the state.
