The list of successful applicants from the recent recruitment exercise of the Amotekun corps in Oyo  State has been released.

According to a statement made available to Newsmen by the commandant of the security outfit, all candidates are to check their names at their various local government headquarters and the Oyo State job portal on the internet.

He disclosed that to demonstrate that security is on the priority list of Oyo State government, it has slated the commencement of the training for Amotekun Corp for November 4, 2020 to ensure safety of lives and property.

He said the training is in accordance with the instruction given  to him by the state’s Governor Seyi Makinde, that the training should commence in earnest after the successful recruitments that was carried out throughout the thirty three (33) local governments of the state.

“Successful candidates are to report at the Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo on Tuesday, November 3, from 9:00 a.m. for documentation, while the duration of training will be two weeks.

“Candidates are to come with two pairs of blue short knickers, white vest and canvass, as well as plastic buckets, cup, plate, spoon and broom.

“Those who can read and write should come with their writing materials.”

The commandant, however, said those whose names are not on the list should not bother to come for the documentation
