The Oyo state Police Command has decorated the total of fifteen (15) newly promoted police officers from the post of the Superintendent of Police (SP) to the post of the Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
Oyo State Police Commissioner while decorating the officers enjoined them to make use of the advantage of there new offices to realized the constitutional responsibility of the Nigeria Police Force.
The police chief noted that the Inspector General of Police, IG. Muhammad Abubakar Adamu is saddled with the responsibility to cater for the welfarism of the entire Nigeria Police Force.
Olukolu further urged the benefitting officers to redouble there effort adding that promotion is a call for higher responsibilities.
He added that one of the promoted officers died before decoration and one is currently in the hospital receiving treatment.
He further advised them to be more committed, dedicated and professional while carrying out their activities.
Speaking on behalf of the promotees, CSP. Jeffrey Ellah, applauded the Inspector General of Police, and other concerned authority for the promotion.
He further prayed for the soul of the deceased officers among the promotees and prayed for the hospitalized officer to be in good health.
