Oyo OPC Reads Riot to Criminals in Oyo State

The Oyo state chapter of the Oodua people’s Congress (OPC) Gani Adams faction has come out in a clear term to condemn the activities of criminals that want to take advantage of coronavirus to disturb the peace that is reigning in the state since the insecption of Governor seyi Makinde left administration in the state.

Comrade Rotimi Olumo the Oyo Co_Ordinator said this while speaking with newsmen in ibadan the Oyo state capital yesterday. He said that various groups are taking the advantage of coronavirus to disturb the peace of the citizens of the state. He said that the era of Governor seyi Makinde has brought unprecedented development to the state.

Comrade Rotimi Olumo said that Oyo OPC is ready to assist both the state government and the Nigerian Police Force to reduce crime and criminality in the state.


Comrade Rotimi Olumo said that OPC in Oyo state is not happy with what is happening in state since the lockdown order by the state government .


He maintained that crime rate has reduced drastically in the state because citizens can sleep with their two eyes closed but in the last few weeks things has changed
Olumo said that he has directed all the local government chairman of OPC to make sure that there domain is crime free.He said that OPC will not allow any groups to cause crises in the state.

He also advise members of the public to be vigilant and give necessary information to OPC and other security agencies. He said that OPC is fully ready to fight crime and criminality in the state .


Olumo also advise all OPC members in the state to be of Noble and resist all forms of crime in their area.

He also urged all the traditional rulers in state to sui the government and give the necessary support and education to the people in there domain
