The traditional ruler, who served as a pillar of leadership and cultural heritage in the Sasa community, reportedly transited to the great beyond today barely three months after the death of Haruna Maiyasin, the controversial self-acclaimed “Sarkin Sasa”,

Alhaji Ajani, widely known for his calm disposition, wisdom, and dedication to community development, held the position of Baale for several years, navigating the complex socio-political terrain of Sasa with dignity.

His leadership helped maintain the identity and values of the indigenous Yoruba-speaking community in the face of various internal and external pressures.

Funeral arrangements for the late Baale are expected to be announced by the family and community elders in due course.
