The Peoples Democratic Party PDP candidate in Oyo North Senatorial District Hon Akinwole Solomon Akinwale popularly known as Wolekanle has promised to ensure equal distribution of resources among the 13 local governments area that constitutes Oyo North Senatorial district if elected.
He also promises to promote religious harmony and contribute to human capital development and advancements of the constituency.
Hon Akinwole said this during a familiarization visits to Leagues of Imam and Alfas,Christians Association of Nigeria CAN ,Youth and student forum in Tede and Saki in Oke Ogun on Monday.
The meeting which was held at Central Mosque Tede and First Baptist Church Tede had in attendance the executive members of leagues of Imams and members from all the local government, CAN coordinators and clergymen from all the local governments in Oke Ogun, Youth Wing of Christian Association YOWICAN,
At the meetings, the religion leader, students placed emphasis on the need for Higer institutions, good road, employment oppurtunities for the youths, security and establishment of small scale industries that will create job oppurtunities encourage the farmers
They also insisted that Wolekanle if elected should be fair and ensure equal distribution of resources emanating from the federal government.
Akinwole however promised not to betrayed the confidence reposed in him by ensuring that he work hard to meet up with their demands.
“By God’s grace if elected, i will use my influence and connection as a lawmaker facilitate developmental projects to the constituency, i have move round, i know where the shoe pinches and the agitation of our people is well understood, i will try my best and my constituents will definitely see the difference.
The Director General of the campaign organization, Hon AbdulJeleel Oyinloye in his remark said Akinwale if elected will represent the interest of Oke Ogun and Ogbomoso at the national Assembly very well
Oyinloye who is the chairman Iwajowa local government said “people should not allow themselves to be hoodwinked with religion of ethnic sentiment but make their choice base on pedigree and antecedents.
Wolekanle also meet non Indigenes community in Sango, Saki among other places
