I, as the Deputy Chairman of the Council wishes to affirm that Governor Makinde should be given the chance for a second term to allow him build on the foundation of a better Oyo State which he is laying.

Our decision to support Governor Makinde is based on his satisfactory performance in the last four years.

The Governor has shown credibility, character, good governance, brilliance , understanding of the economy, and has achieved infrastructural development.
We cannot fold our arms because we are all stakeholders in Oyo State. Our support for Makinde is not on partisanship basis but on credibility. He should be re-elected based on his performance. He has done well and should be allowed to sustain the good work.
