This is important because if we have to wait till the case is settled in the court, we may not be able to move forward but we can dialogue and agree on terms and we move on.

“What is wrong is wrong, the issue at hand is not about ALGON or Governor Seyi Makinde but about Nigeria democracy. We should block the loopholes that has put us in this quagmire. As a Governor, I will attempt same thing Governor Seyi did, though the action is undemocratic and retogressive. It is this anomaly that the Supreme Court has corrected. The highest court in the land has emphasised that there exist three tiers of government in Nigeria and no State Governor or State House of Assembly has power any longer to remove democratically elected chairmen.”

“It is very sad that our people are suffering because of the ongoing political standoff. There are no serious developments since May 2019 all in the name of politics, let us stop partisan politics. I see myself as hybrid politician which is a clear depature from the kind of politicis being played in the past. Let us put behind the kind of politics played by our fathers; democracy is about the people. Let us not play partisan politics, let us think about the people and development of our state” Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala said.
