Ogunniyi who is the Senatorial Youth Leader of the APC joined the PDP together with Hon Gbeminiyi Olaniyan, a party leader from Ibarapa Central and Hon Semiu Oladeji, the party secretary in Ibarapa Central, together with hundreds of their supporters.
The newly defected chieftains were hosted by Mógaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, the Senatorial candidate of the PDP for Oyo South Senatorial District. In his remarks, Tegbe assured them of a pride of place in the PDP and reward for their efforts.
