Two former Governor of Oyo staye, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and Otunb Adebayo Alao Akala and Oloye Teslim Folarin, Senator representing Oyo central Senatorial meetin at the upper chamber of the National Asembly hold strategic meeting in Abuja
Alo Akala contested governorship election in 2019 under the plaform of Action Democratic Party ADP but later ordered his party members to vote for APC’ candidate Oloye Bayo Adelabu.
An inside source said the close door meeting was held at Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala’s residence in Asokoro Abuja
At the meeting, the trio brainstormed on how to restore unity back in the party ahead of 2023.
Similar meeting was held in September 2017 where they also discussed their ambition to context as senator in their respective senatorial district
Although not confirmed yet but it was learnt that Sensator Teslim Folarin may likely throw his hat in the ring in 2023
