Osun Speaker Promises Cooperation With House of Assembly Commission

The 8th Osun State House of Assembly has promised to continually work with the House of Assembly Service Commission to bring about the needed development to legislative activities in the state and to make the 8th Assembly the best assembly yet in the history of the state.

The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun stated this while receiving a delegation from the Assembly Commission on Wednesday in his office.

The Speaker assured them that the commission will be regularly consulted to gain from their wealth of experience.

The Chairman of the commission, Hon. Abiodun Akinwale Awolola who led other members of the commission on a courtesy visit in his opening remark said they have come to visit the Honorable Speaker to pray for him and the assembly members and to also notify him of their willingness to work closely with the 8th assembly under his leadership.

He noted that the commission will always be available for guidance where necessary and promised a smooth working relationship with the assembly.

He appealed to the Hon. Speaker to also relate with them with love and understanding.

The Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Babajide Kofoworola and the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Akinyode Oyewusi in their different remarks appreciated the commission for their timely visit and assured them of cooperation.
