Osun State Commissioner of Police Wale Olokede has honoured eminent personalities in the state with Ambassador of Peace Award for their outstanding contributions to peace building in the state.

The well attended event took place in Osogbo, the state capital on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
The award, according to the Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode, is in recognition of their outstanding positive influence to the community and immense
contribution towards peace tranquility enjoyed in the state.
He added that ‘This is an attestation to your unquantifiable contribution and support for the Police in ensuring peace and progress in the state, we
also celebrate you for your immense
contribution towards raising a better future for the younger generation

The organizers of Ijesha Marathon and other events said ” Apart from employment, we trainned youths on how to be self sustained and also help them in developing their career and becoming a brand.
He however urged the government to provide enabling environment for the youths so that they will not only be engaged maintain a peaceful life.
