The Oremeji Agugu group of Professionals is a body of young men and women who see Seyi Makinde second term project as their own has asked Oyo state residents to vote en masse for the Oyo state governor Engr. Seyi Makinde who is seeking a second term in office in the Saturday 18th March, 2023 poll.
The Body concluded this having chronicled some of the Governor’s major achievements as having direct impact on the teeming Youths and masses in the State .
In a press release made available to newsmen Wednesday signed by the group’s Chairman Engr. Micheal Olutoye Oyeleye it is stated Makinde has recorded landmark achievements in the last four years which should pave way for him to win reelection.
“Governor Seyi Makinde did a yeoman’s job in his first four years as Oyo state helmsman. He has recorded landmark achievements which are unprecedented which we feel the Oyo state people will cherish and so support him in his reelection bid.”
The release further noted “The governor is a man of vision and is borne by mission to leave indelible legacy. This mindset is what has set him apart. If achievement is what determines reelection then Engr. Makinde should have an easy ride to victory. He’s ranked among the best governors Oyo state has produced.”
Engr. Micheal highlighted among other achievements provision of sports infrastructure across the state evident in refurbishment of stadia in different zones of the state, funding of football clubs campaigning in national leagues, rejuvenating our hopes and performances at the Sports Festival through great motivations and rewards for Sportsmen and women and so on just as the good performance being posted by Oyo state contingents at various national meeting is mentioned as another credible achievement of the incumbent governor.
Some others according to the group that began their lives at Oremeji alongside Governor Seyi Mankinde are the “intensive road infrastructures, modern state-of-the-art bus terminals, abrogation of tuition in public secondary and primary schools, reenergizing of LAUTECH by securing sole ownership for it and turning it into a conventional university, boost in agricultural production, regular payment of salaries, pensions and gratuities, improved security in the state through adequate funding of security agencies complemented by establishment of Amotekun Corps and so on.”
The Chairman thumbing up the governor stated, “These are remarkable achievements which are not obscure. The best electorates in the state can do is to return him as governor through the March 18th governorship election. That is the best reward they can give him.
“We urge the teeming youths , market women, civil servants, teachers at tertiary, secondary and primary axes, local government workers, artisans, pensioners, traders, business owners, transport workers and all to go out en masse on Saturday to vote for Engr. Makinde as he has further aces up his sleeve.” Engr Micheal Olutoye Oyeleye concluded.
