The worldwide convener of Oodua Progressives Union and the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams has urges all sons and daughters of Oduduwa be always be proud of identifying with their roots and promote their tradition

OPU representatives from all South America countries (Argentina, Bolivia,Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay) were represented at the event.

The generalissimo added that connecting with roots and promoting culture and traditions will go a long way in projecting Yoruba people in a bette light

Adams maintained that Oodua Progressive Union is a big believer in growths and achievements and life is about learning and developing qualities likecompassion, patience,perseverance,love,joy and so forth.

Chief Ogunlowo Abiola- Coker,the South America Coordinator and Bobagunwa of Ojenpetu Kingdom, in his remark commended the global convener of OPU Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland for finding time to witness the summit in Brazil with his entourage from Nigeria.

He also appreciates all South America executives and members for their supports and contributions on the success of their summits.

Comrade Babatunde Salami the OPU South America Secretary who stated the aims and objectives of the organisation to the guests said the focus is to foster unity and promote yoruba culture and tradition.

The Brazil National Coordinator Comrade Bayo Majaro , appreciate all the Guest that attended the event .

In attendance with the global convener of OPU,Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland were High Chief Adekunle Aderonmu the oluwo ogboni of Brazil,Chief Tanimowo Babajide the Atoloye Aare Onakakanfo Of yorubaland,Chief Peter Oguntimehin the Asoju Aare Ona Kakanfo of yorubaland,Comrade Dauda Asikolaye the Administrative secretary of OPC,the Araba of Oworo,Lagos state.

OPU representatives from all South America countries (Argentina, Bolivia,Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay) were also moved and feel the presence of Iba Gani Adam’s in there various countries.
