Olubadan to Install Ibadan Poly Lecturer, Asiwaju Nurudeen Akinade As Mogaji

All arrangements for the installation of Asiwaju Nurudeen Akinade, by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, have been concluded.

The installation of Asiwaju Akinade is scheduled to hold on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Olubadan’s palace.

According to the news made available by the Coronation Planning Committee , the installation programme will commence at Popoyemoja palace of Olubadan palace after which the newly installed Mogaji, his friends and family members, will move down to his family house, Ile Onilari, Talapa/Olodo Compound, Oopo Yeosa, for further installation rite.

The release stated further that the Mogaji designate, a former Chairman, Ibadan Cultural Festival and Vice Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP), the Polytechnic, Ibadan Chapter will host his friends and well wishers at the prestigious Olugbade Hall, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Akanran.

Asiwaju Nurudeen Akinade was born to the family of late Pa Tijani Adio & Alhaja Afusat Akinade of Ile Onilari, Talapa/Olodo Compound, Oopo Yeosa, Ibadan over four decades ago.

He attended Eleta High School, Ibadan and proceeded to The Polytechnic, Ibadan where he studied Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) at National Diploma (ND) and Applied Chemistry at Higher National Diploma (HND).

Asiwaju Akinade had his B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry in JABU, Ikeji Arakeji & M.Sc. in Environmental Chemistry at Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA).

Asiwaju Akinade, a Pioneer President, Federation of Oyo State Students’ Union (FOSSU), the Polytechnic Ibadan Chapter , The Pioneer National PRO, FOSSU and National President, Federation of Ibadan Students’ Union (FIBSU), is a cultural ambassador and a passinonate lover of arts.
