A social crusader and Cordinator, Southern Youth Forum( SYF), Comrade Oladimeji Odeyemi has lauched a Foundation in commemoration of his birthday
He is also set to Empower the less priviledge in the society with cash and economic tools worth N5million
In a statement made available to National Insight Dejavu as he is foundly called said “While, I thank the Almighty God for the gift of life. He has been faithful in my life and that of my family. I have enjoyed tremendous grace, mercies and compassion from the Most High God.
“The Almighty God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and lovely kids, as a family with our absolute trust in the Almighty God, and through dint of hard work, we have been able to build a good social base, a moderate but strong economic means, and a formidable political structure”
” For so times now, I have meditated, reflected and prayed and have come to a conclusion of expanding the frontiers of philanthropy to some deserving but less privileged in our society. I have decided to rededicate the rest of my life to serve humanity in ways that can bring succor and happiness to the indigent, especially the families of our fallen heroes.”
“Today, Monday, 4TH September, 2023, which is my Birthday Anniversary, instead of the usual fanfare that grace such occasion, I have decided to use today to inaugurate the Oladimeji Odeyemi Foundation (OOF), our major areas of focus for now is to bring relieve and succor to the families of our lost heroes. To support the families left behind by some personnel of the Armed Forces Of Nigeria, who died in active service, the families of this heroes who paid the supreme price to guarantee a safer Nigeria for us all, must definitely be supported. The Foundation will work with the Nigerian legion and all other relevant stakeholders and NGO’s who are working to support the families of our lost heroes.”
” For this inaugural edition, my family and I have elected to commit the sum of Five million naira,(#5M) for this cause, while I’ll equally make passionate appeals to my friends, mentors and associates to support this laudable initiative of mine. All their support and assistance will the channelled into the work of the Foundation”
