The Ogbomoso First Community Initiative (O’First Group) in conjunction with a USA based organization – Second Chance Smile Global Foundation (USA) & The Ajagbe – Ajala Legacy is organizing a free medical – dental screening exercise for the people in Ogbomoso and its environment.
The free screening test/medical care which is tagged “2021 AJILETE MEDICAL–DENTAL MISSION” is scheduled for 12th to 15th July, 2021 at the O’First Group Centre, Oke Osuru, Ogbomoso, between 9:00am and 4:00pm daily. The exercise will involve checking of blood pressure, sugar level, joint, eyes, dental problems, etc.

Social/Publicity Secretary of the group said the medical – dental screening is part of the social responsibility program of the Group to enhance the welfare and well-being of the less privileged and indigent citizen of the area. According to him, the Group discovered that regular and frequent medical check – ups of the health status of individuals is sacrosanct to good and healthy living, yet majority of the people do not undertake to undergo these checks apparently due to lack of financial capability.
He added that O’First Group decided, as part of its efforts at enhancing a healthy living standard, to collaborate with the Second Chance Smile Global Foundation (USA) & The Ajagbe – Ajala Legacy to embark on the free screening exercise.
The President of the O’First Group stated that the Second Chance Smile Global Foundation (USA) & The Ajagbe- Ajala Legacy has provided medical equipments, personnel and will in addition prescribe drugs/herbal medicine as intervention to screen participant while O’First will provide logistics in terms of accommodation, medical accessories, volunteers, free transportation for interested persons, and other support logistic services to assist the generality of the people to check their health status through this medical – dental screening exercise.
Sir Olusegun Adekunle said all covid protocols must be observed by interested participants as anyone who flouts the order will not be allowed in to the premises.
