In a show of solidarity and empathy, Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide. fondly called  Odidiomo, the esteemed representative of the Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Muslim Umar over the untimely passing of the Grand Mufti of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdulfatai Alaga.

In a condolence message made available to the media in Ibadan, Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide expressed his deepest sympathies to the immediate family of the late Sheikh Alaga.

He fervently prayed to Allah to grant eternal peace to the soul of the esteemed cleric, who was affectionately known as Alfa Agba within Ibadanland.

Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide acknowledged the significant role Sheikh Alaga played in promoting religious harmony within the state.

He highlighted the late Sheikh’s unwavering commitment and tireless efforts in fostering unity among the Muslim community and beyond.

The lawmaker emphasized that Sheikh Alaga’s demise has created an irreplaceable void among Muslims in the state.

As Ibadan mourns the loss of a revered spiritual leader, The legacy left by Sheikh Abdulfatai Alaga will undoubtedly be cherished and remembered for years to come.
