O’ First Collaborates With UN, NDLEA on Anti Drugs Campaign .

Ogbomoso First Group,a socio-cultural organization in Ogbomosoland, is collaborating with United Nation and National Drug and Law Enforcement Agency to enlighten the youths on the implication of drug abuse.

The event which is organized in commemoration of United Nations Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking will hold between 24- 26th in Ogbomoso

According to a press statement issued and signed by the President of O’First Group, Mr Bayo Babatunde , the theme of the event is “ Listen first to the children and the youth”

The program will feature sensitization programme on a radio, a- 1000 man march, and a lecture to sensitize the youths, parents and the general public on the dangers of emerging drug crisis .

Also a lecture entitled “ Drugs, Harms on Health of Youths in Ogbomosoland will be delivered Dr Abayomi, a Consultant Psychiatrist, and Executive Director of an NGO – Healthy Mind Development Initiatives on Monday 25 June.

Other Speakers at the lecture which will hold at Ladoke Akintola University Lecture Hall, Ogbomoso include Rev. A. D Olawuyi, Chaplain LAUTECH, Professor O.A Aderinola, HOD Animal Production & Health and Patron Drug Free Club, Professor A Tijani, Chief Imam LAUTECH and other eminent dignitaries in the society.
