COMMUNIQUÉ OF THE NIGERIA NATIONAL LEAGUE CLUB OWNERS ASSOCIATION MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 14TH DECEMBER, 2021 AT THE PRESTIGE HOTEL, AIRPORT ROAD, BENIN CITY, EDO STATE. The forum was convoked on the immediate need to address the challenges bedevilling the Association as an important organ in the operation of the league as the practice in global scenes. Considering the unsatisfactory conduct of the league in few seasons past, the forum saw a need for the stakeholder to give mutual respect to individual members who are committed to the running of the league. The league is bedevilled with organisational crisis and bereft of visionary direction that allows for unilateral decision without consideration or reference to the club owners.
Going forward, it is expedient to act and move in unison just as it is germane to repositioning the league for posterity sake. Having achieved unity among members and stakeholders the association took the following decisions:
(1) The Association dissolved Abdul Sule led board and moved a motion for the election of the new ones for the following positions.

2) The Association demanded the immediate inclusion of 2 Directors one from the Northern conference and the other from the southern conference. The following people were unanimously elected as consensus for the following positions: President Zone Name (1) President South Chidi Okonkwo (2)
Vice-President North Mustipha Moda
(3) Secretary South Kunle Oyeleye
(4) Treasurer North Sanni Muhammed
(5) Welfare South Gorge Best
(6) Coordinator North Isah Dodo
7) Director North Sheriff Bukar
8) Director South Tony Rafua
9. Fin. Secretary South Ebam Ejen

(3) The Forum equally took a cursory look at the controversial inclusion of (4) teams from both conferences by the secretariat, it was decided that all the 8 Clubs from both Conferences should go for play-off in the spirit of justice and fairness. Therefore, Jos and Uyo have been chosen as the centres on 10th to 12th January, 2022. (4) The agenda for the Annual General Meeting was equally brought on table and positions were equally taken pronto! Signed: ____________________ ____________________ Chidi Okonkwo President
