Amidst the rising index of coronavirus in Nigeria, Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will resume Plenary on Tuesday, 5th May, 2020.

The National Assembly had on Tuesday the 24th of March Suspended Plenary and other legislative activities for two weeks, and had extend its adjournment in line with President Buhari’s lock down directive be to prevent the spread of unanticipated coronavirus

According to a notice signed by Nelson Ayewoh, Clerk of Senate, the lawmakers at the upper chamber of the National Assembly are expected to sit in Plenary on Tuesday, 5th May, 2020 at 10.00am prompt.

The statement reads further that “Staff and Senators’ Aides are to work from home and they will be notified when needed in the Office for any special assignment.”
