The former deputy Governor of Oyo state , Amb Taofeeq Oladejo Arapaja has Congratulate His Excellency governor Oluseyi Makinde ,good people of Oyo state and Nigeria at large on 60th independence anniversary.

According to a press statement by his Media and publicity assistant Bamitale Ibrahim and made available to newsmen,  Ambassador Arapaja urges “Nigerian to keep the memory of our fallen hero’s alive and hope for a better Nigeria”.

“it’s an honour for me to extend my warmest greetings to His Excellency governor Oluseyi Makinde ,all citizen of Oyo state home and in the diaspora and Nigeria at large on the auspicious occasion of our 60th independence anniversary.

“Today marks the end of the prolonged colonial era and the beginning of a new nation , governed by the will and Passion of its own people. Certainly, irrespective of the challenges we’re facing as a nation, today is a day of joy for us

“Today we remember the families of our heroes past who bears the agonizing reality of moving forward with their lives while keeping memories of our fallen hero’s alive.

“But on this celebration of independence, we cannot but feel the pains in hearth of innocent Nigerian who have lost their lives to the covid19 pandemic

“Today’s 60 years after achieved independence, if we look at our subsequent journey, we would find that our country has seen major challenges, but let be prayerful and hope for a better Nigeria soon..
