Olaleye Ajibade, the Chief Executive Officer of New Realms Travel and former Welfare Officer of the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA), has officially picked up his nomination form to contest for a leadership position in the association’s Western Zone.
Olaleye, who is also a two-time Public Relations Officer of the association, said his decision to enter the race is motivated by a desire to consolidate the achievements of the outgoing administration while introducing fresh, innovative ideas to further strengthen professionalism within the travel and tourism sector.
Speaking shortly after obtaining the form, he noted that the industry is undergoing rapid transformation, stressing that NANTA must continue to equip its members for global competitiveness.
According to him, his vision is to “build on the solid foundations already laid, deepen capacity development among practitioners, promote ethical standards, and foster stronger collaboration among members across the zone.”
He further pledged to prioritize member welfare, intensify advocacy, and support initiatives aimed at enhancing business growth for travel agencies.
With his official declaration, Olaleye joins a growing list of industry stakeholders seeking to contribute to the advancement of NANTA as preparations for the Western Zone elections gather momentum.
