The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Oyo State Council, has congratulated Dr. (Mrs.) Adenike A. Fashina, mni, on her appointment as the new Head of Service of Oyo State.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the State Chairman of NANNM, Comrade Adeleke Olugbade Victor, and the State Secretary, Comrade Aina Emmanuel O., the association described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Dr. Fashina’s years of dedicated service, professionalism, and exemplary leadership within the state’s public service.
According to the association, Dr. Fashina’s appointment is “a round peg in a round hole,” noting that her vast administrative experience, integrity, diligence, and commitment to excellence have distinguished her throughout her career.
NANNM stated that Dr. Fashina has earned a reputation as an outstanding administrator whose contributions have positively impacted the public service in Oyo State.
The association added that her wealth of experience and proven ability to deliver results make her eminently qualified for the position.
The nurses and midwives expressed confidence that her visionary leadership, sound judgment, and dedication to service would further strengthen the Oyo State Civil and Public Service and contribute significantly to the development of the state.
The association also offered prayers for divine wisdom, good health, strength, and guidance as she assumes the responsibilities of the office.
“On behalf of all Nurses and Midwives in Oyo State, we rejoice with Dr. Fashina on this landmark achievement and pray that Almighty God grants her the grace and wisdom to successfully pilot the affairs of the Oyo State Civil and Public Service to greater heights,” the statement read.
NANNM wished the new Head of Service a successful and impactful tenure in office.
