Communication minister , Barrister Adebayo Shiittu on Friday donated 2 buses to Oyo state chapter of the All progressives congress APC
The minister also commissioned 6 motorized borehole in different locations in Ibadan with a pledge to do more for the benefit of people and progress of the party
While presenting the keys and document of the Mazda buses to the party chairman chief Akin Oke, the gubernatorial hopeful said the gesture is in appreciation of the party that gave him the platform to be a minister and to the people that voted the APC government in 2015
According to him, the APC governments is a blessing to the country, the government is already righting the wrongs of the past administration and will not fail Nigerians “ God loves Nigerians that is why he gave them APC governments
The minister said though he is not getting any fund from anywhere apart from traveling estacodes and salaries said he will continue to use the resources available to make life better for the people
Part of my plan is to dig 3 boreholes to each local governments in the state and initiates a farmer supports program which, an initiatives which will aides food productions and generate more income for farmers
The minister also promised to trained 1,000 youth in ICT training, “ most of our graduate needs training on ICT to make them start on their own, and the selection process will be one person per ward across the state
He however commended the leadership of the party and the executive governor of the state for holding forth and promise to continue to support the party
The state party chairman, Chief Akin Oke in his response thanked the minister for the gesture and urge other political office holders in APC to emulate such gestures
