Media Speculations: Jubril Dotun Sanusi Clear Air on Political Innuendoes, Says Everything is in God’s Hand

Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, a prominent philanthropist in Oyo State has issued a statement clarifying his stance on recent media publications and innuendoes stating that he has been disqualifying him from 2027 gubernatorial race.

Jubril Dotun Sanusi addressed the rumors that that filtered the media space following statement made by His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde regarding age limit for aspirants within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Despite his past support for candidates such as Governor Makinde and Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Sanusi emphasized that he is not currently affiliated with any political party and has not declared any intentions to contest in the upcoming election.

Reacting to the speculations in the media, Sanusi reiterated his unwavering commitment to the welfare and advancement of Oyo State, emphasizing that his actions have always been driven by a desire for the continued development and progress of the state. He highlighted his track record of philanthropic initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people in the community, regardless of their political affiliations.

Chief Sanusi categorically rejected any attempts to associate his name with political controversies or narratives that do not align with his principles and values. He reaffirmed his status as a man of integrity, guided by principles of honesty, fairness, and service to humanity.

The statement urged individuals engaging in speculations and conjectures to refrain from linking his name with personal agenda.

Instead, Chief Sanusi emphasized the importance of constructive dialogue and collaborative efforts to address the challenges facing the community.

According to him, God Almighty is the ultimate decider of who will attain any political height in life. He noted that the 2027 project has been committed to God’s hands adding that he remains undaunted and resolute in meeting the yearnings of the good people of Oyo State.
