In a bid to ensure that the people at the grassroots also enjoy health care service in Oyo State, an ally of Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, Mr Benedict Akika, has taken free health mission to the doorsteps of the residents of Lagelu Local government Area.

Akika, who is also the founder of Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF), on Saturday, presented free eye glasses and drugs to beneficiaries of the programme.

Medical experts were on hand to conduct free eye tests and complete health assessment for beneficiaries.

While speaking on the development, Akika stated that the gesture served as a platform that can further increase the trust people have in the Makinde-led administration to keep them healthy.
