Eid-el-kabir: Adanla Advocates Forgiving Spirit

Turaki Adinni of Oyo State, Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Kareem MCIArb, MCIOB, MCAB, popularly known as Adanla, has called on Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-kabir celebration to imbibe forgiving spirit.

While charging the Muslim community to be good ambassadors of Islam, Adanla, the CEO of Afia Homes & Properties and Mogaji of Adanla compound of Ibadan, called for spiritual re-birth and sober reflection, adding that the teachings of the Holy Qur’an must be upheld in their dealings at all times.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan, Adanla described Eid-el-kabir celebration a special moment not only to merry but also to show love to one another as Islam is known to a religion of peace.

He said, “As we celebrate yet another Eid-el-kabir, I specially congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters, home and abroad. It’s a great opportunity to once again check our relationships with the Almighty Allah and men, and endeavor to make adjustments where necessary.

“We must adhere to the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and exemplary qualities of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) and embrace peace and harmony for us to have a better society.

“I wish all a happy celebration, and I pray that Allah will grant us the grace to witness many more celebrations.”

Adanla, who is currently performing the 2025 Hajj alongside his wife and some other members of his family, wished Muslims a fruitful Eid-el-kabir celebration.
