Dr Lukman Adisa Adamawa has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party PDP party flagbearer for Saki-East, Atisbo and Saki-West Federal Constituency.
Adamawa who was declared winner at the rescheduled primary elections that held on 23 May 2022 in Saki won with 98 votes.

said the process was in accordance to the PDP guidelines and constitution of Nigeria
INEC electoral officers, Security officers, comprising, Oyo State Operation Burst, Nigeria Police, Amotekun Corps, Civil Defence were on standby monitored the election.
Local government chairmen including on. (Engr) Sarafadeen Ahmed Omirinde – Saki-West,Hon. (Mrs) Mosumade Rahmat Adediran – Saki-East, Hon Fasasi Adeagbo – Atisbo LG Chairman, Hon. (Alh.) Siju Lawal – Commissioner for Training and Investment,Hon Okedoyin Femi Julius (Member of Oyo State House of Assembly Saki-West Constituency)
Hon. Saminu Gbadamosi (Member’ Oyo State House of Assembly Saki-East/Atisbo Constituency) were at the political events
Also present were Saki-West PDP Party Chairman,Hon (Alh.) Wasiu Ayesoro. ,Saki-East PDP Party Chairman (Mr Balogun Mudathir) ,Atisbo PDP Party Chairman (Alh Fatai Ojebisi) and others.
