A chieftain of the All progressive Congress APC, Alhaji Rasak Gbadegesin Kareem has expressed his confidence in the ability of the Oyo state independent electoral commission (OYSIEC ) to conduct a free and fair elections
The former deputy chief of staff to former governor Alao-Akala also expressed optimism that the chief Akin Oke led executive of the APC in Oyo state will also ensure that the process for the emergence of candidates for the local government elections will be transparent, free, fair and according to the rules.
The Ogbomoso born politician while interacting with his supporters in Ogbomoso on Wednesday said so far, OYSIEC has demonstrated its readiness and determination to conduct credible local government election in the state.
” Apc is a party of the progressives where the game is played by the rules and there is nothing happening to suggest otherwise and i have no regret joining the party ”
He call on stakeholders in the political sector not to heat up the polity during the election but promote peace and stable development of the state
