An Ilorin-based lawyer, Sulaiman Abaya, has dragged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to court claiming N1bn for alleged defamation of character.
Abaya accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for allegedly painting him in bad light.
According to report obtained on TVC, The anti-graft agency had published his picture online in a fraud allegation, a situation which the lawyer described as an infringement on his fundamental human right.
