The District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Mountain of Mercy District Headquarters, Ori Oke Aanu, Ojoo, Ibadan, Pastor Isaiah O. Alade, popularly known as Omo Woli, has urged Nigerians to trust in God for divine provision while embracing hard work, righteousness and obedience to God’s principles for prosperity.
Pastor Alade gave the charge while preaching on the theme, “They Shall Not Hunger Nor Thirst,” during a three-day Monthly Mercy Once Again programme held at CAC Ori Oke Aanu, Ibadan.
The cleric said God had the power to provide for the needs of His people and equip them with the wisdom, strength and opportunities required to overcome poverty and attain financial stability.
He, however, stressed that faith and prayers should go hand in hand with diligence, discipline, integrity and the responsible use of God-given talents to achieve legitimate wealth.
According to him, Christians must remain committed to righteous living and avoid being discouraged by prevailing economic challenges, noting that steadfastness in faith and adherence to godly principles were essential to overcoming life’s difficulties.
Pastor Alade, popularly called Omo Woli, urged Nigerians not to surrender to fear or despair in the face of economic hardship but to remain hopeful and trust in God’s promises.
He further encouraged believers to seek divine guidance in their daily activities, make prudent financial decisions and deploy their resources in ways that would benefit others and promote the work of God.
The cleric maintained that achieving prosperity required a combination of faith, responsible living and purposeful efforts, urging Christians to remain steadfast in their spiritual commitments while pursuing legitimate means of livelihood.
