Lawmaker Seeks Support for Gov Fayemi, Wife

The Councillor representing Aaye/Igbole/Ifishin Ward in Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Hon. Remilekun Okunola has urged the APC members in the Ward to continue to support the Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and his wife, Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Fayemi in their quest to develop the State.

Hon. Remilekun Okunola stated this while distributing Christmas and new year gifts to the APC members in Aaye/Igbole/Ifishin Ward who converged on Aaye Ekiti.

Hon. Okunola said the Governor and his amiable wife are God-sent to Ekiti State as they are working day and night to ensure that life is more meaningful for Ekiti-kete. She thanked the Governor for the rehabilitation project of Methodist Primary School, Aaye-Ekiti which is one of the projects being implemented by the Governor in her Ward.

She also thanked the Wife of the Governor whom she referred to as her mother in need and indeed. Hon. Councillor from Aaye/Igbole/Ifishin Ward said, the First Lady has been a pillar of support for the administration by giving Ounje Arugbo to the elderly on a monthly basis, widow empowerment and the support for women across the State.

Hon. Okunola promised to keep on bringing dividends of democracy to her people at the grassroots, considering the impactful programmes, projects and policies of the Governor. She appealed to all the members of APC and other residents in her Ward to join the Governor and his Wife to make Ekiti State a pride of all.

At the event, hundreds of APC members smiled home with Clothes, Cash and Cylinder Gas.

Responding, some of the beneficiaries commended Hon. Remilekun Okunola for the gesture. They described it as first of its kind in the history of Aaye/Igbole/Ifishin Ward. The beneficiaries said they will keep supporting the Governor and his wife because of the good representation in Hon.Remilekun Okunola.

Highlight of the event was dancing, wining and dining as a one big family in APC from Aaye/Igbole/Ifishin Ward of Ido/Osi Local Government.
