Amofin Beulah Adeoye has formally advanced his governorship ambition in Oyo State with the submission of his gubernatorial nomination form at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national secretariat in Abuja.
Adeoye, who submitted the form at the PDP headquarters located at Wadata Plaza, described the move as another major step in his journey to serve the people of Oyo State.
In a statement after the submission, the legal practitioner and politician said his aspiration was beyond personal ambition, stressing that it was driven by a desire to serve humanity through governance.
According to him, his wealth of professional experience would be deployed towards the growth and development of Oyo State if given the opportunity to serve.
“This action further confirms my commitment to this aspiration, not just as a political ambition, but as a call to serve humanity through the instrument of governance,” he stated.
Adeoye said he remained committed to the unity, growth and progress of every part of the state, pledging to work with passion and dedication for the advancement of the people.
“As I have said before, the best way I can have a fulfilling career is to use my wealth of professional experience to help contribute to the growth and development of my dear state,” he added.
He also expressed optimism about the journey ahead, assuring supporters that “step by step, we will get there.”
The submission of the nomination form signals Adeoye’s formal entry into the race for the Oyo State governorship under the Peoples Democratic Party.
