Family and political associate of  Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola, the late premier of Western Region will on Thursday 12th January  gathered  formally launch  Ladoke Akintola Foundation

The public presentation and unveiling of logo of the foundation which is scheduled to hold  at Afe Babalola Auditoium , University of Lagos (UNILAG)  were part of activities  set to mark the 51st  remembrance of the late politician, lawyer and teacher

Other programme set for the day includes presentation of awards to deserving Nigerians including governors of the South West, former  Military Head of state, directors of organizations among others

Bashorun Yomi Akintola and Dr Bimbo Akintola are the chief host while Chief Yomi Finnih will chair the events .The executive governor of Oyo state Senator Abiola Ajimobi and  professor Ralph Akinfeleye will deliver the keynote address

According to a press statement signed by Mr Yemi Adedokun, the coordinator of the event, other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include president Muhammadu Buhari, traditional rulers from  yorubaland,  captains of industry as well as political associates people who believes in Akintola Political ideology of United Nigeria
