The people of Kishi Community in Irepo Local Government Area of Oyo State have congratulated the newly Sworn-in Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Barrister Bayo Lawal.
In a letter signed and made available to newsmen on Thursday, the National President of the Kishi Progressive Union (KPU), who is also the Agbaakin of Kishi, Chief Bayo Adesope JP, said the congratulation was made on behalf of the Iba of Kishi, Oba (Dr.) Masoud Oyekola Aweda Lawal JP, the Kabiyesi, the Iba-in-Council and the community.
The community said his appointment was based on his Honor’s track records of enviable performances both in private and public lives, especially his indelible marks as Chairman, Housing Corporations of Oyo State, under his Excellency’s watch.
KPU promised to reward the singular honor placed on them by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, with a bloc votes in 2023 general election, saying that the privilege are by no means indicative of his love and trust in an uncommon tested and reliable public servant like Aare Baamofin of Kishi.
The statement read in part, “As an illustrious son of Kishi and Good ambassador of State, please continue to be fully loyal inline with the dictates of the all religious Holy books of almighty and always discharge your official duties with all sense of fairness and justice to all parts of the state.”
“As a community, our people are ready to keep giving our best to the government of the day to attain its set goal, now and in the future.”
