Adeleke was said to be on his way to Ibadan, the state capital, ahead of a meeting with Governor Seyi Makinde on Monday morning.

His vehicle was, however, intercepted by unknown hoodlums and the two were whisked away.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Oyo State Command, Olugbenga Fadeyi, said, “Information reaching me reveals that he was kidnapped along Ado Awaye- Iseyin Road.
“Effort’s intensified to get him released and arrest the culprits please.”
