The Speaker of the Kebbi Assembly
Abdulmumeen Kamba and his Deputy Alhaji Muhammad Buhari-Aleiro have been impeached by the Assembly memebrs
Their impeachment was announced by the chairman House Committee on Information and Culture, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur, after a closed-door plenary session

He said the Speaker was immediately replaced by Deputy Chief Whip, Hon. Muhammad Abubakar- Lolo while the Deputy Speaker was replaced by Hon. Muhammad Usman.
Tukur, who did not disclose the reason for the impeachment of the principal officers, said 20 out of 24 members attended the session.
He said that the new speaker had been sworn in and will lead the House to the ‘promise land’ and we have agreed with him and ready to support him
