JDS Ability Sport 2025 Set to Showcase Talents of People with Disabilities in Oyo

Preparations are underway for the JDS Ability Sport 2025, a major sporting event aimed at celebrating the talents and abilities of people with disabilities across Oyo State.

The event, scheduled to take place from 15th to 17th December, 2025 at the Ilaji Hotel and Sport Resort, is organised by the Network for Inclusion of People with Special Needs (NIPSN),

Th event sought to provide a platform for inclusion, empowerment, and visibility for athletes with disabilities, while also promoting unity and awareness across communities.

Participants will compete in a variety of sports tailored for different abilities, including blind football, para tennis, wheelchair racing, tug of war, goalball, para powerlifting, and bottle knockdown.

The chief host of the event is Chief (Engr) Jubril Dotun Sanusi (JDS), whose support and commitment to inclusion continue to inspire positive change in the state.

According to the organisers, JDS Ability Sport 2025 will not only highlight athletic excellence but also foster a more inclusive society by recognising the potential and achievements of people with disabilities in the state.
