Following the bill for the establishment of University of Agriculture and Technology in Oke Ogun presented by Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, the Senator Representing Oyo North Senatorial districts at the upper chamber of the National Assembly, leaders and members from the region have begin to lobby actors that may make the dreams a reality.
Oke Ogun elders in a press statement appealed to Federal Government, Senate and other stakeholders to support the senator’s bill on the creation of University of Agriculture and Technology in the region .

It would be recall that people of the region have been working on a private university to be cited between Agunrege and Okaka which is believed to be the centre of Oke Ogun
It was gathered that some traditional rulers from the zone are already sending delegates to Senator Buhari and reaching out to their people that are highly placed to help them in bringing the university to their domain.
On Sunday Baagi of Saki,and members of Saki Parapo on Sunday visited Senator Abdulfatai Buhari in his hometown in Ogbomoso to discuss their desire to have the University in Saki
They commended the Senator for his immense contributions to the development of the Senatorial district and appeal to him to consider the community as a suitable place for the University if the bill is eventually passed into law.
A source close to the Senator also informed our reporter that Senator has been receiving visitors and calls from different part of the Oke Ogun, commending him and demanding for the university in their domain
National insight also gathered that some traditional rulers and community are already reaching out to people that matters to help assist them in securing the site of the University.
