Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resorts Muslim Community will on Saturday, April 16, 2022 holds it’s maiden edition of Ramadan Special Lecture.
A statement by the Chairman, Ilaji Muslim Community, Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade, which was made available to Journalists on Monday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital noted that the renowned Islamic Cleric, Alhaji Sheikh Buhari Omo-Musa, will be the guest speaker at the event, while the Otun Apesin of Ibadaland, Engineer Dotun Sanusi will be the Chief host.
Akinade noted that the lecture would be held at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort by 2pm prompt.
He pointed out that the lecture by the Ilorin-born preacher was going to include series of activities including Quranic competition.
He stated that Ilaji Muslim Community is an offshoot of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort consisting of Muslims’ emoloyees, Muslims in the host communities (Oloyo Village & Akanran and its environs), friends and well wishers of the hospitality outfit.
He however said that the organization owned by Chief Dotun Sanusi, an Ibadan born investor, in a bid to give holistic hospitality services to its numerous muslim guests built a central mosque which was commissioned by Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdul-Ganiyy AbuBakr Agbotomokekere”.
“The congregation in the mosque has since evolved which has led to the the establishment of its Asalatu arm”.
