A coalition of JDS groups in Oyo State has formally declared its support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, announcing the formation of a new political platform known as the JDS Renewed Hope Movement for Tinubu – Oyo State.

The coalition made the declaration in an official statement issued in the state, saying the decision followed extensive consultations among members and stakeholders across Oyo State.

According to the group, the movement was established to mobilise support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid and to promote the continuation of his administration’s policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Announcing the decision, the coalition said it had unanimously adopted the President as its preferred candidate for the next presidential election, citing confidence in his leadership and development agenda.

“The Coalition of JDS Groups in Oyo State proudly announces the formation of the JDS Renewed Hope Movement for Tinubu – Oyo State,” the statement read.

“After careful consultation among our members and stakeholders across the state, we have unanimously adopted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.”

The coalition stated that its endorsement was driven by what it described as Tinubu’s vision for national development and the progress recorded under his administration.

“This decision is based on our confidence in his leadership, his vision for national development, and the progress being made under the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the group said.

The coalition also called on residents and political stakeholders across Oyo State to rally behind the movement in support of the President’s continued leadership.

“We therefore call on all progressive citizens, youth groups, and community leaders across Oyo State to join this movement in supporting the continuation of responsible leadership and national transformation,” the statement added.

The group emphasised that the newly launched movement would focus on grassroots mobilisation, political engagement and public advocacy to strengthen support for the President across the state.

Reaffirming its commitment to the initiative, the coalition concluded by expressing optimism about Nigeria’s future under the current administration.

“Renewed Hope, Stronger Nigeria,” the statement declared.
