Executive Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, Honourable Yussuf Sahib Oladayo (Agba Egbe), on behalf of the entire people of the local government has congratulated Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde on his re-election as governor to pilot Oyo State for another four-year term.
The Chairman in a statement signed by the council’s information Officer Foluso Lala said that the renewed mandate given the number one citizen of the Pacesetter state was a reflection of confidence and trust the people have in him.
According to Honourable Oladayo the people’s trust was earned through Governor Makinde’s hard work, openness and benefits of democratic governance his government delivered to the state in the last four years.
According to the Chairman, the people were appreciative of the magnitude and spate of developments in the state which tabled that they did not make any mistake entrusting the state into Engineer Makinde’s hand in the last four years.
“The people across all corners of the state knew what they wanted. They went for it and they have spoken with one voice by re-electing him back to office.
“His Excellency has done very well in the last four years and I am sure with the grace of God upon him the next four years will be much more impactful by way of eye-popping developments across the state.
“Governor Makinde is a man of his words and he will deliver much more as he has promised in the course of his electioneering campaigns.”
The chairman however, appealed to all and sundry to keep praying for the governor and the state at large so that unprecedented achievements will be recorded in the journey of another four years of democratic governance in the state.
