I Remain Owa Of Igbajo, Oba Makinde

The Owa of Igbajo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ademola Makinde, has urged sons , daughters and residents of the town to remain calm as he remains the authentic and recognized ruler of the town.

This is coming on the heels of a judgement of a State high court in Ile Ife on Thursday which notified the white paper of the Osun State Governor which brought the monarch to the throne led to the emergence of Oba Makinde Ademola as the Owa of Igbajo.

Speaking after the ruling, Oba Makinde assured the people of the town that he holds the judiciary in high esteem and that was why his lawyer will approach an appellate court for stay of execution of the judgement .

While acknowledging numerous calls and visits by eminent Osun people and friends of Igbajo, the monarch assured that justice will be served in his favour at the end of the day.

“I have received several calls after the judgement. I am not bothered because my emergence was through divine order and my Igbajo people. We are appealing the judgement. We are sure of victory.”

He thanked everyone that reached out to him and urged them to remain calm and go about their endeavors without let or hindrance as their security was guaranteed.
