‘I Didn’t Obstruct Ilaka’s Campaign Bill Board in Oko’- BUNVIC

Hon Olusegun Odebunmi member representing Ogo-Oluwa/ Surulere Federal constituency who doubles as Chairman House Committee on Information and Chairman, Oyo state House of Representatives caucus has debunked the insinuation that he deliberately situated his campaign Billboard in Oko roundabout to obstruct another Billboard belonging to Oyo Central, PDP senatorial candidate, Chief Bisi Ilaka whom he respects as an elder state man.

 

Ilaka’s campaign organization had  in a press release singed by its media Director, Omolere Omoetan raised the alarm over what was described as deliberate blockage and obstruction of his campaign billboard.

But Odebunmi  described the allegation as unfounded with no iota of merit.

In a special press statement released by his media consultant Akintoye Ekun, Bunvic noted that the politics of media banters embarked upon by one of the council chairman was a deliberate ploy invented to curry unearned sympathy from unsuspecting members of the public .

Reacting to the specifics of the allegation, Bunvic noted the Former Chief of staff is someone whom he has a lot of regard for But some overzealous and reckless individual in the community were the ones that are mischievous and misleading the public.

Bunvic advised the handlers of Chief ilaka’s Billboard to approach the constituted authority in the State for more clarification on the matter .
The statement concluded.
