About 18 indigenes of Oyo and Lagos State who went for Nigerian Airforce Job Screening were on November 3rd kidnapped  along Abuja –Kaduna road

Some of them managed to escaped but those who could not escaped were taken into the bush by the kidnappers

Although the victims have been  released after payment of ransom ranging from N500,000  to N5million to their abductors

75 Oyo state indigenes were selected for the screening and some of them left Kaduna immediately after the screening with the intention of getting to Ibadan the following day only to be abducted on their way.

One of the victims in a chat with National Insight said “  two buses conveying passengers from Kaduna to Lagos and Ibadan  were intercepted around 6pm and they marched us into the bush, some of us managed to escape while others were taken to their den.

“ The victim who did not want his name in print said further that “ about 30 minutes after our abduction, military men came but they could not locate them.

About 5 indigene of Oyo state who went for the same exercise were in the same  bus with me but I was the only one that escaped, some people in other bus too escaped.

The kidnappers have called families of the  victims and the one I knew told me they paid N500,000 before she was released and  after her abductors have confirmed the money they gave her just N500  for transport.
