Hon.Oladeji make case for public school teachers

A member of Oyo State House of Assembly Hon Bimbo Oladeji has called on the state government to organize a special reward for subject teachers in public schools as a means of encouraging them and enhance productivity.

Hon Oladeji representing Ogbomoso North at the state House of Assembly  gave this urge while contributing to a motion raised by a Lawmaker on the need to resuscitate prize giving day and recognition of outstanding students in public schools in the state.

The motion moved by the Deputy Chief Whip of the House, Hon J A Olaleru from Kajola state constituency sought to seek an encouragement for students of public secondary schools through prize and award.

In her contribution, Hon Oladeji said the prize should not be limited to the students but also extended to the teachers in public school  as a form of  reward for excellence

” We have good teachers in Public school too, there should be a kind of incentive for teachers in public schools and that will bring out the best in others.

The House also deliberate on the need to reduce the activities of quackery among the surveyor with the aim of enhancing proper documentation of land paper as well as  generating funds for the state

The motion which was moved by the Minority Leader Hon Olagunju Ojo was however referred to the committee on Land which was directed to meet with Surveyor general office with view to review the cost of obtaining Land documents from the government.
