Lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North State Constituency Hon Bisi Oluranti Micheal has appealed to Governor Makinde to consider the appointment of Professor Rasaq Olatunde Kalilu as the substantive Vice Chancellor for Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH )Ogbomoso.

Hon Bisi Oluranti, an ex student of the institution in a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan on Tuesday said Professor Kalilu who is currently the acting Vice Chancellor is competent and capable to turn the institution around as envisioned in Governor Makinde’s plan.

She maintained that apart from the fact that professor Kalilu has paid his dues as a lecturer at the institution, he has also demonstrated his leadership ability since his appointment as the acting VC.

“Considering the achievement recorded and many initiatives he introduced for the development of LAUTECH, there is no doubting the fact that professor Kalilu will make good use of the opportunity to serve for the advancement of the institution and Oyo state at large.
