Herdsmen Kill SARS Boss in Saki,Destroy Cashew Farm in Ogbomoso

An Assistant Suprintendent of Police in charge of Special Anti Robbery Squard SARS in Saki area of Oyo state was on tuesday killed by Fulani herdsemn

The officer whose identity is yet to be revealed was said to have been matcheted by the herders along Saki-Ogbooro road by some fulani who ambushed his team in an attempt to arrest 2 fulani accused of terrorizing the area

Although the details of what transpire is still scanty as at the time of filing this report but the police authority was said to have confirmed the incident according to Nigerian Tribune Newspaper

oMeanwhile another 4 hectraes of cashew farm was allegedly set ablaze in Ogbomoso by the herdsmen

The farm simply identified as Ooja Farm in Iwofin area of Suurelere local government also have its utility motorcycle burnt.

The Owner of the farm Mr Adeyanju Adeolu said the herdsmen set the farm ablaze on the 30th of January and the case was erlier reported at Iresaadu Police station before it was transferd to Area Command Office in Ogbomoso

Adeyanju who expresses dissatisfaction over the way the case is being handled said ” he alleged that the police wanted to turn the plaintiff into the accused

He however call on the appropriate authority to hurriedly intervene and take neccessary action on the matter.
